Australian Defence Force
We’ve been supporting the Australian Defence Force (ADF) for
the past 30 years – providing up to $400 million worth of services
every year. As you’d expect from an organisation with such exacting
standards, the ADF’s demands are high.
So high in fact, that we’re
measured against no fewer than 69 rigorous compliance indicators,
111 performance indicators and 840 individual KPIs a month.
We meet them of course – but it’s a punishing schedule.
Spotless Contract Manager, Mal Burchett, understands the
strategic challenges involved in running efficient and effective defence
facilities and operations, "For us it's all about rapid response; our innovative
and flexible approach means we can support the highest level of Defence
readiness".
In Queensland alone, Spotless has a team of 500 providing garrison
support and maintenance functions to Queensland’s Defence
Support Group.
Because of the geographically diverse nature
of the state, and the fact that it’s home to the Navy, Army and Air
Force, the scale and diversity of our services presents a complex
logistical feat.
- Deliver more than 850,000 meals to mess halls and troops
training in the field.
- Maintain 35,000 hectares of defence land.
- Clean 12,000 buildings – from administration offices
to kitchens, hospitals, gyms and even kennels.
- Watch over high and medium level security facilities,
baggage and freight.
- Conduct fire hazard reduction burning.
- Respond to 37,000 requests for urgent maintenance works.
Managing a range of garrison support and comprehensive maintenance services, Spotless is one of the largest contractors
to Australia and New Zealand Defence.
