Landmark urban renewal project
Representing a fundamental shift in community renewal and social infrastructure in Sydney’s western suburbs, Spotless is a key member of a $700 million Public and Private Partnership which will develop and maintain more than 800 new dwellings for 30 years.
Since Spotless began cleaning projects with Housing NSW in 2002, public housing strategy has changed dramatically, and with it Spotless has shown the skill and resource capacity to be an integral party to innovative business.
Bonnyrigg Public-Private Partnership is a project which will replace an existing public housing estate in Sydney’s western suburbs with a new estate of more than 800 public dwellings and 1,500 private dwellings.
A private sector consortium will be responsible for financing, planning, construction, refurbishment and maintenance of the public housing, and provide tenancy management services over a 30-year period. Spotless as the facilities manager will maintain the public dwellings, providing a program of planned preventative maintenance.
