Transocean Sedco Forex International is the world's largest off-shore drilling contractor. Undertaking off-shore explorations across huge distances of Australian waters, Transocean Sedco Forex International has been working with Spotless for eight years to ensure it has a 24/7 catering, cleaning and laundry services for its unique workplace.

Rigged to be ready

The Sedco 703 is a 100 x 75 metre, semi-submersible oil rig that works in water 600 metres deep and drills to depths of 7,600 metres. It is capable of drilling in diverse locations ranging anywhere from Bass Strait to just off the coast of Timor.
Spotless has demonstrated its capacity to respond to new challenges of oil rig exploration, enormous logistical issues, and unique workplace issues including 21-day long shifts and cyclone evacuations.

Responding as a team

While Spotless brings all the experiences and skills obtained through more than 4,000 cleaning, food and laundry contracts throughout Australia and New Zealand, it also has the capacity to draw on skilled staff living on both west and east coasts of Australia to join the Sedco team on oil rigs thousands of kilometres away.

At this remote and challenging workplace , the Sedco 703 oil rig relies on Spotless to managing the 24/7 provision of meals, cleaning and laundry for 100 drillers, technicians and geologists - even if there is no power due to cyclones.
