We are proud of our advances in furthering sustainability, and have been recognised by industry for a number of our water conservation and environmental efforts:
- In 2007 the Barnsley re-use plant in the UK won the prestigious Barnsley Business Environment Award for its outstanding commitment to the sustainability agenda.
- In 2006 our Murdoch laundry in WA was declared a Waterwise Business by the Water Corporation following a 50% reduction in water usage.
- In 2005 our Northcote laundry received the Pathways to Sustainability award by Yarra Valley Water.
- In 2001 and 2003 our Northcote laundry was a finalist in the Victorian Government’s Water Saver Awards. The award was in the category of Efficiency of Water Use in Business – Retail and Service Sector.
- In 2001 Punchbowl NSW won the Gold Medal in the NSW State Government’s Smart Energy Award.
