Reconciliation Action Plan
At Spotless, we are determined to increase our employees’ cultural awareness together with the engagement and participation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within our business. This objective has been a significant driver in the establishment of our inaugural Innovate RAP.
Spotless’ commitment to foster a business environment inclusive of Indigenous culture, heritage, communities and people, closely aligns with our Company values and supports the process of reconciliation and the strengthening of relationships.
Our strategy includes the establishment of cultural training across Spotless aimed at raising awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and heritage, acknowledging important cultural celebrations, plus reviewing workplace practices and implementing a number of strategies, including pre-employment training, an Indigenous Management Graduate Program and mentoring, to increase the number of Indigenous Australians employed across the business.
Working in partnership with two not-for-profit organisations, Clontarf Foundation and Role Models and Leaders Australia (RMLA), Spotless also aims to support and encourage Indigenous students to strive and achieve the best in life.
