Our approach to asset maintenance aims to reduce facilities maintenance budgets and increase reliability across the retail operations.

We assess the capacity and functionality of an asset - a piece of machinery for example - and then set out a schedule to maintain, upgrade and operate it. In doing so, we can get the maximum value out of the asset throughout its life. Ultimately we look to extend the life of an asset and reduce unforeseen breakdown by implementing proper maintenance strategies.
  • Building services
    Services include office refurbishments, equipment upgrades, renovations, repairs, restorations, internal fit outs and ongoing maintenance. We employ qualified, licensed, and accredited tradespersons, project managers and engineers with extensive experience. We operate a 24/7 contact centre and a database of accredited subcontractors – which means we can always put the right person on the job, right away.


  • Essential services
    A critical area for ensuring retail customer safety is the operational-readiness of your emergency response equipment including fire extinguishers, emergency exit lights, fire alarms, fire sprinkler systems and fire escapes. It is the most critical area of maintenance we provide – and we do it for hundreds of clients– including a number of major retailers – in accordance with legislation, strict codes of practice and building regulations.


  • Cooling tower maintenance
    Air conditioning cooling towers require rigorous maintenance and testing regimes. Poor maintenance standards have been linked to Legionnaires disease. Accordingly, all sites with cooling towers need a detailed maintenance plan and must report regularly on the services undertaken to these systems. Spotless maintains many such systems for clients throughout Australia and New Zealand, both through our own technicians and a range of specialist contractors.


  • HVAC
    HVAC is one of the most costly components of a retailers' energy bill, accounting for around 35 per cent. It is also one of the most critical areas for customer comfort. Customers demand a cool and comfortable environment in summer, and conversely, demand a warm and inviting temperature in the cooler months. Routine maintenance is the best way to ensure all HVAC systems are running optimally. Maintenance engineers monitor all aspects of HVAC to ensure assets operate efficiently and effectively. An effective maintenance and cleaning schedule can cut the HVAC energy bill by up to a quarter.


  • Painting services
    Retail is all about first, and last, impressions. Our retail painting expertise ensures retail premises look their best at all times. Jobs range from single wall touch ups to major refurbishment projects of large scale box retailers. Teams work out-of-hours to ensure minimal disruption to customers. Low fume and quick drying paints also mean you'll never know we were there. We're experts at large-scale projects that require detailed scheduling, planning and labour force management. Works include paint repairs, external and internal decorations, industrial coating, flame retardant coatings, pre coat applicators and wall coverings.
