Australia’s largest and first fully-integrated convention, exhibition and entertainment centre will open its doors to the public tomorrow for the first time.
The world-class International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) Open Day will allow people to venture inside and take a self-guided tour through the venue’s state-of-the-art facilities.
Spotless is the Facility Manager for ICC Sydney and part of the Darling Harbour Live consortium team, comprising of Capella Capital, Hostplus, First State Super, Lendlease, Spotless and AEG Ogden.
Spotless is responsible for providing comprehensive facility management and asset management to all three buildings (Convention, Exhibition and Theatre) and their surrounding public precinct. Our role includes hard facility management services, repair and replacement, high level cleaning, grounds maintenance and horticulture, art conservation and utilities management.
The project achieved construction completion on 19 September 2016 and the Spotless FM team is mobilising for its next 25 years of operation.
Spotless has been part of the ICC Sydney project since bid phase in 2012 and have been a part of the evolution of the facilities from their original concept. It is with great pride that we are witnessing this exciting facility come to life.

This showcase venue reinforces Sydney’s place as one of the world’s most desirable meeting and event destinations.
With 35,500 square metres of exhibition space, ICC Sydney will be capable of collectively hosting more than 12,000 delegates and holding multiple large conferences and exhibitions concurrently.
It features a 5,000 square-metre external event deck, a ballroom that caters for more than 2,000 people and a red carpet entertainment complex with a capacity of 8,000.
Opening in December 2016, ICC Sydney will be Asia Pacific’s premier business events precinct.
