Stephen Rowe presents at World Bank Public Procurement Reform Project

Stephen Rowe, Group General Manager of Procurement and Property, featured as speaker for visiting delegates from the Bangladeshi public sector Procurement, participating in the Bangladesh World Bank Public Procurement Reform Project. He presented the history of Procurement in Australia and the challenges both procurement and supply chains face. Stephen was invited by Mark Lamb, General Manager CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) Asia Pacific, to present.  

The World Bank Public Procurement Reform Project for Bangladesh aims to support government procurement reforms by improving procurement quality through better management and monitoring, to strengthen procurement management at sectoral level, and to create a sustained program of developing skilled procurement professionals. It is also designed to create greater awareness of a well-functioning public procurement system by engaging civil society, think tanks, the private sector and visiting other countries.
