The Leeuwin Estate Winery in Margaret River, Western Australia, has been host to the annual “Leeuwin Concert Series” since 1985, and since the beginning, Spotless’ catering brand Mustard have been responsible for catering to corporate guests at the event.
Set to the picturesque backdrop of the Leeuwin Estate Winery, the 2012 Concert Series will showcase performances by Marina Prior, David Hobson and the Perth Symphony Orchestra.
The event involves a number of complex logistical elements for the Mustard team. Four semi-trailers transport mobile kitchen equipment, marquees, chinaware, cutlery, glassware, linen and food from Perth to Margaret River. Setup crews, including wait staff and porters, arrive onsite three days prior to the event to set up the main marquee and staff catering compound.
At this year’s concert, 15 chefs will deliver a three-course fine dining experience to approximately 1500 corporate guests from around the country. The menu showcases West Australian food and Leeuwin Estate wine with Mustard’s team of skilled and experienced chefs and hospitality staff working hard to ensure that every detail is taken care of.
