SA COVID-19: Lockdown Notification
As you are aware SA Health have alerted Adelaide residents of an outbreak of COVID-19 and authorities have launched a rapid response to contain an outbreak, including a lockdown period commencing 12:01am Thursday 19 November for six days, whereby “Circuit Breaker” restrictions will apply.
During this period we anticipate a large proportion of our work to be classified as an “essential service”, which will allow Spotless employees to continue to attend work and deliver our services. Your manager will advise you of any impact to the services we provide and for those who are required to continue working, provide you with an essential services identification letter for you to carry with you at all times.

Supporting SA Health Contact tracing
SA Health advises that if you have attended the Emergency Department at Lyell McEwin Hospital between 5.30 pm Friday 13 November and 8.00 am Saturday 14 November or the Woodville Pizza Bar between Friday 6 November and Monday 16 November you may have been in close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case.
SA Health has also released a new list of sites where confirmed COVID-19 cases have attended can be found here. Please review and follow specific health directions if you have visited a site on this list:
- If you visited this location during this time, and have not been contacted by SA Health, self-quarantine immediately, seek testing and call the SA COVID-19 Information line 1800 253 787
- Anyone who has attended these sites is urged to monitor for symptoms of COVID-19.
- If you develop symptoms, however mild, do not attend work and follow the SA Health advice and seek testing.

Stepping up our vigilance
COVID-19 is highly contagious and can spread easily. Never come to work if you have any symptoms consistent with COVID-19, including cough, fever, headaches, fatigue, muscle pains, or shortness of breath
Remember to keep surfaces and shared amenities clean after using them as well as keeping an appropriate distance, regular hand cleaning and coughing into your elbow.
New COVID Safety measures on-site
The safety of our people, customers and community are paramount. We have COVID Safe Plans in place across all of our operations.
Always check-in at reception each day for a temperature scan and keep your workspace clear at the end of each day so it can be cleaned appropriately.
If you have any COVID-related symptoms, no matter how mild, you are encouraged to seek testing or contact the National Coronavirus Helpline (1800 020 080) if you need assistance in seek testing advice.
