Spotless appoints Executive HR leader

Spotless Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Catherine Walsh as Group Executive – People, Performance and Culture.

Reporting to CEO and Managing Director Martin Sheppard, Catherine will play a key role on the company’s executive management team. 

She will be responsible for Spotless’ human resources, industrial relations, payroll, occupational health and safety, workers compensation, remuneration and staffing functions.

Catherine brings to the role more than 21 years of experience in human resources and workplace relations.

She spent 15 years at Australia Post, most recently as General Manager – Group Human Resources & Safety where she was accountable for the company’s people program.

“I am delighted Catherine has joined the Spotless team,” CEO Martin Sheppard said. “She has strong leadership and strategic management experience and will drive a high performance culture in line with our strategy, helping the business attract and retain the best people.”

Prior to Australia Post, Catherine worked at Clayton Utz Lawyers. She has a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.

She commenced with Spotless on August 8 and is based in Melbourne.
